We fly to the breathtaking volcanic crater of Mt. Batur via Tanah Lot Temple on the west coast. We reach Mt. Batur volcano after 30 minutes of flight time over the island’s wonderfully diverse landscape. This crater is the remains of a huge explosion that occurred thousands of years ago. Lake Batur, Bali’s largest lake, situated within this crater, next to a younger active volcano. The small volcano is constantly recreating itself in periodic eruptions of ash and rock. We explore this sometimes-smoking volcano by circling the crater. Proceeding east can we then fly over Lake Batur and past Mt. Abang, reaching Besakih temple, Bali’s biggest temple complex. The helicopter now starts to climb to an astonishing 11,000 ft. to reach the crater of Mt. Agung. Upon reaching the top, we circle the crater and then start to descend towards Besakih temple at the foot of the mountain. In the distance Mt. Rinjani on the neighboring island of Lombok is visible on a clear day. On the return journey to the Heliport, we pass numerous rivers, valleys, hotels and villas and of course – luscious rice fields. Prior to landing, the route takes us via the eastern coastline to see the beaches of Sanur and Benoa harbor.

This is a panoramic flight of the west and south coasts of Bali that highlights the beaches of Kuta and Legian, the mysterious Tanah Lot temple, and remarkable rice terraces. Tanah Lot temple was founded in 1481 AD by a famous Hindu priest Dang Hyang Nirartha. It is situated in the ocean, and can only be reached during low tide. The temple has a reputation for being dangerous, partly due to the many poisonous snakes that live in the surrounding caves. It is believed by the locals that these snakes are protectors of the temples, guarding it from intruders. We proceed towards the southern Bukit Peninsula, pass Jimbaran bay and Dreamland surf beach. Then we fly onwards to the ancient Uluwatu temple, where the coastline of limestone cliffs, remote beaches and seaweed farms are truly spectacular.

Uluwatu means “the head of stone”, and is one of the most spectacular Hindu temples along the Bali coastline. This beautiful temple is located atop a limestone cliff towering 90 meters above the Indian Ocean. Flying south past Jimbaran Bay and Dreamland surfing beach, we view this ancient temple and then continue over deserted beaches, seaweed farms and limestone cliffs and the famous Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue.

Private charters are available for clients to fly by Bell 206L3 helicopter (6 pax) or Piper Cheyenne 400 (6 pax) in Bali and to surrounding islands. We fly to the following beautiful destinations as Jogyakarta (Java), Labuanbajo (Flores), Lombok Hotels/Airport (Mataram), Balikpapan (Kalimantan), Malang (Java) , Surabaya (Java), Ruteng (Flores), Bima (Sumbawa), Moyo Island (Amanwana) etc.

Terms and Conditions

•  Sharing Tours are for a minimum of 4 Persons per flight.
•  Minimum 24 hour advance booking required for daily trips and must be paid in full.
•  Prices are US$ net and includes 10% VAT tax.
•  Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
•  Start of all Helicopter Tours and Flights is: Heliport at Benoa Harbor.
• Sharing Tour prices are per person and based on a minimum of 4 passengers sharing. We reserve the right to add more passengers or reschedule the flight if total passenger numbers less than the minimum requirement.
•  All Sharing Tour flights are non-refundable.
•  Additional 3 % surcharge for credit card payment. A total amount will be converted to Indonesian currency based on the bank daily exchange rate.
•  Passengers are required to be ready at the Heliport at least 20 minutes prior to your departure time.
•  Hotel pickups are not available for Sharing Flights.  But can arrange in Sanur, Kuta, Nusa Dua Seminyak Area for aditional surchage of USD 10.-
•  Private Flights & Charter: Additional charges may apply (Landing Charges) and subject to flight conditions.
